Larges & littles beaches
in El Cotillo
In the North West of
Fuerteventura island,in one typical canary village there is El
Cotillo.
El Cotillo, near Corralejo ,is one
tourist place very much knowed in Canary Islands ; known from
surfers
and wind-surfers peoples for the particular
conditions that only here can be found ( the wind constant
blow during all the year) and for for the beautifull
seaside ,so interesting to always offer one
mutable and
variegated technical characteristics for the lovers of the
acquatic sports.
In these immediate
proximities there is El Roque (1 kms) and far only five
minutes by drive car there is
Lajares . Principal activity
of these small centers it' is the tourism , fishes and the
goats breeding.
In Lajares there is one ancient and famous
embroidery school ,Lajares is known for some of the most
beautiful and particulars island wind mills.
The landscapes everything around it's bare
(here never rains to exclusion of February month)but the
charm of the island and these places, besides the
beautiful sea,are the volcanos with strangest forms
that
mighty and imperious, its hacks to the the clear horizon of
the tropics sky and, even if its are
extinguished by
thousand of years, its always preserve a particular
reverential charm .
In Lajares there is one
volcano that must be visited because it has the caldera that,
despite the
departed years it 's intact. For visit the
caldera must to go on the top; (the "calderon hondo volcano"
is adjoining to others volcanos that are around Corralejo
city); for it visit is necessary go to one little
entryway
that depart 200 meters from the begin of the Lajares road that
go to Maianicho and in 25 walks
minutes you will be on the
top .
